Shane Gillis to Host February 24 SNL with Musical Guest 21 Savage

Gillis, who released his Beautiful Dogs stand-up special in 2023, also appeared on Pete Davidson's Bupkis series.

On February 24, Saturday Night Live returns from a two-week break following Ayo Edebiri's SNL debut. The Host and musical guest for the next new SNL episode have been announced—read on for more details below.

Who is hosting the February 24, 2024 Saturday Night Live episode?

Shane Gillis. 

Shane Gillis is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. In 2021, Gillis released his debut comedy special on YouTube, Shane Gillis: Live in Austin. His follow-up special, Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs was released on Netflix in September 2023. 

In addition to his podcast with comedian Matt McCusker, "Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast," Gillis is a frequent guest on The Joe Rogan Experience, Barstool Sports' KFC Radio, and Sirius XM's The Bonfire. Gillis also appeared as "Gilly" in two episodes of Pete Davidson's semi-autobiographical Peacock series, Bupkis

21 Savage performs on stage during 2023 HOT 107.9's Birthday Bash

Born in London and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, 21 Savage is a British-American rapper. He released his third studio album, American Dream, on January 12, 2024. 

21 Savage has been nominated for a Grammy Award a total of 11 times, winning a Best Rap Song Grammy in 2020 for "A Lot." At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2024, he was nominated for five Grammys, including Best Rap Album for 2022's Her Loss. 

Like Host Gillis, it will be 21 Savage's first time appearing on SNL.
