Get to Know: Dermot Mulroney as Chief Dom Pascal | Chicago Fire | NBC

Fans of the greater Dick Wolf Television Universe will recognize Chicago Fire paramedic Violet Mikami's (Hanako Greensmith) new partner. But they might not be glad to see him.

How to Watch

Watch Chicago Fire Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock

Following the departure of Sylvie Brett (Kara Kilmer), Mikami has been partnered with Jared Lennox, played by Law & Order: Organized Crime alum Wesam Keesh. But things between Lennox and Mikami are frosty, at best.

Wesam Keesh was a fan fave as hacker Malachi on Organized Crime

Keesh had a ten-episode arc on Law & Order: Organized Crime as Adam "Malachi" Mintock, a hacker paying back his debt to society by hacking for the good guys at the Organized Crime Control Bureau. He was first apprehended by fellow hacker, Det. Jet Slootmaekers (Ainsley Seiger), and their working relationship turned real flirty, real fast. Unlike certain slow burn romances in the NYPD (Benson and Stabler come to mind), "Jalachi" shared an on-screen kiss!

"I was happy about it because it's satisfying when you see two characters on TV or in a story, and you know there's a spark between them," Keesh told TODAY of his momentary make-out with a co-star. "And the spark was obviously great enough where they couldn't hold back anymore in order to express themselves — a little bit physically which is OK."

Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh), and Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) appear in Season 12 Episode 8 of Chicago Fire.

The pair was beloved by viewers, hacking its way straight into their hearts. Even though Malachi's story has been wrapped up (for now), this isn't the last we'll see of Keesh...

Chicago Fire's Lennox is nothing like Organized Crime's Malachi

If viewers were hoping for sparks to fly between Lennox and anyone in Firehouse 51, they'll be sadly disappointed. Coming from the Chicago suburbs, Lennox is used to a by-the-book approach, and is thrown when he sees the Firehouse 51 crew tossing rules to the side when need be.

He even passive-aggressively undermines Violet during a medical emergency, causing her to snap, "You used the term 'new [Paramedic In Charge]' on purpose to cast doubt on my abilities in front of the victim and his wife. I can't have my partner undermining me on every call. That's not going to work."

After he promises that it won't happen again, Mikami warns Lennox that he has used two of his three strikes. Eventually, Lennox files a formal complaint against the station. Yikes.
