In The Hunting Party, the crime-fighting team has already managed to recapture several of the serial killers who escaped from the top-secret security prison known as The Pit. However, there are still more criminals out there that they need to catch before it’s too late.

How to Watch

Watch The Hunting Party Mondays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Season 1, Episode 8, “Denise Glenn,” revolves around the titular killer Denise Glenn, portrayed by actress Janet Kidder. However, this time she's not an escapee on the run; she's actually still in custody.

The real murderer is someone who is out there killing and using Glenn's signature style to do it

But, if you find Denise Glenn to be a familiar face, you are not alone. Here’s everything you need to know about actress Janet Kidder and what you might recognize her from.

Janet Kidder's Career & famous aunt Margot Kidder

Before The Hunting Party, Janet had been starring in movies and TV shows since the '90s.

Her most notable roles include her recurring alien character Osyraa in Star Trek: Discovery, her starring role in the Hallmark film Cooking With Love, and for genre fans, she played Diane in Bride of Chucky, one half of a couple who Chucky and Tiffany Valentine kill; Chucky proposes to Tiffany after the murder with Diane's ring.

Kidder is also Hollywood royalty. Her aunt is none other than the late Margot Kidder, the Emmy-winning actress best known for portraying Lois Lane in the iconic Christopher Reeves Superman films. Aside from starring in superhero movies, the on-screen icon went on to do everything from voice acting to taking over the drama genre. She even hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 1979 (Season 4, Episode 15).

Margot Kidder also starred in the classic 1970s horror film Black Christmas. She played sorority girl Barbara “Barb” Coard, who wasn’t able to survive the wrath of the killer.

After a successful acting career that spanned over 40 years, Margot Kidder died on May 13, 2018.

Denise Glenn's character in The Hunting Party has a superfan

The episode's titular killer, played by Janet Kidder, isn't just a killer — she's also an artist and professor at St. Louis University obsessed with the Nine Muses. That caused her to go about town finding the most talented people in their fields and killing them in a brutal-yet-beautiful, Hannibal-esque manner that resulted in these screwed-up ... art pieces. But Denise is still in custody. The team realises, to their horror, that she's got a copy cat who's determined to finish her magnum opus.

Enter: Martin, another prisoner in the Pit who grew obsessed with Denise and has vowed to finish her work.

Luckily, the team is able to swoop in just in time to save the professor Martin was targeting at Denise's former university and stop the bomb Martin planted as an insurance policy. But the mystery only grew at the end of the episode when Denise is escorted to a mysterious meeting in a car where she's told she has "something that doesn't belong to you." We see a doctor stab her, and the ensuing struggle indicates they're cutting something out of her...
