A decade later, Pope continues to shine.
The Voice has introduced us to some talented Artists throughout the years—including Season 3 Winner Cassadee Pope, who took home the competition in December 2012.
To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her win, Pope took to Instagram to share some photos from her time on the show. "Winning The Voice is already an accomplishment that I find hard to comprehend," Pope captioned the pics, including one with her Coach, Blake Shelton. "Winning it TEN YEARS AGO today is even harder to fathom. Thank you @nbcthevoice & @blakeshelton for everything you’ve done for my career. And thank YOU all for voting. You changed this Florida girls’ life forever. ❤️"
Pope's 10-year Voice-iversary comes weeks after another exciting development in her career: a genre switch-up on her new single, “RSVP.” In an interview with People, Pope revealed the new song is a bit different compared to the country tracks she's released in the last decade.
"I'm moving away from the country space and going more into pop-rock, where I came from initially. I'm glad that ['RSVP'] kind of straddles those lines," Pope said. "It's a great kind of bridge for me between what I did before and where I'm headed with my next solo project."
It's been so fun watching Pope's journey these past 10 years, and fans can't wait to see what the next decade brings for her.
