LaRoyce Hawkins Shares Rare Off-Duty Pics with Jason Beghe at the All-Star Game
Beghe took a break from filming Chicago P.D. to go catch an NBA game with his co-star.
LaRoyce Hawkins (Kevin Atwater) attended a basketball game, and hung out with a certain someone we'll all recognize.
On February 19, the Chicago P.D. star was at the 2024 NBA All-Star game, and posted a series of Instagram photos of how he spent the day. In the snapshots, Hawkins posed with rappers Common, Jada Kiss, and Glorilla. But in an exciting surprise, we also got to see a shot of Jason Beghe, who plays officer Hank Voight, make a rare Instagram with his co-star appearance while giving a big smile.
See the pictures here! (Slides 2 and 6).
Beghe made another rare behind the scenes appearance in December 2024 when Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess) posted a snapshot of herself, Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton), Hawkins, and Beghe all smiling together while in costume while filming Season 11.
"Nice to be with the fam for the holidays," Squerciati wrote on the post.

LaRoyce Hawkins attends another basketball game with Chicago P.D. stars
Speaking of Squerciati, she, Hawkins, and Spiridakos also attended a basketball game together in November 2023. At the Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat game, they were also joined by former Chicago Med star Nick Gehlfuss (Will Halstead).
"Get ready, get set, here we come... @choosechicago #chicagopd #oneweekuntilwestart #wevemissedyou #laroycehawkins #tracyspiridakos #chicagobulls #chicago," she captioned the post.
In an interview with NBC Insider, Hawkins opened up about what he enjoys most about working with Squerciati.
"I’m gonna have to give the funniest [on set] to Marina Squerciati, who I affectionately call Burgess, " he told us. "I think Burgess is the funniest because she’s got a physical comedy that gives you Jim Carrey texture sometimes. If you see her in her physical comedy bag, she can do things that’ll just crack you up."

Meanwhile, in a 2023 interview with Essence, he talked about how much Chicago P.D. means to him.
''It’s really nothing but gratitude man from my end of things. It’s something that you can’t really expect. You don’t expect your dreams to come true at this capacity and at this level," he told the outlet.
He continued, "When you’re young, with the type of imagination that I grew up with, I kind of always saw myself in spaces like these, but you never really see it, or you never know how necessarily. You know what you want to do, but you don’t know how it’s going to get done. And so walking into 11 seasons, just period, it’s powerful. My family’s proud, my neighborhood is proud, so it feels great, and I’m grateful."
