Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé Did a Spontaneous Duet to a Classic Theme Song
We can't stop smiling.
Singer Michael Bublé made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show alongside American Idol and music industry legend Randy Jackson. And it wasn’t long before the trio started discussing throwback TV theme songs.
“I love TV themes,” revealed Bublé. “What is your [favorite], if you had to pick one television theme? What is it?”
Host Kelly Clarkson was quick to point out how many catchy jingles are out there.
“Oh my God, there are so many good ones in, like, the '80s...and the 90s,” she said. “Wait, what’s yours?”
Bublé admitted his favorite theme song is from the classic sitcom Cheers. Jackson, on the other hand, was partial to the Bossa Nova-inspired I Dream of Jeannie intro.
“There are so many in my head right now….” quipped Clarkson, visibly overwhelmed by all the options.
She then proceeded to do what she does best: sing! And imagine our delight when Bublé jumped in, resulting in a spontaneous duet of the Three’s Company theme song. Watch in the video, above.
It’s not surprising that Bublé and Clarkson’s vocal chemistry was top-notch. Could a future music collaboration between the two be in the cards? We sure hope so!
If you're hungry for music content now, though, you can watch The Voice on Peacock and on NBC. Clarkson is sitting Season 22 out as a Coach, but Blake Shelton and John Legend are returning in addition to Gwen Stefani and Camila Cabello.
Watch The Kelly Clarkson Show weekdays on NBC. (Check your local listings for times.)
