Ice T Celebrates Mini-Me Daughter Chanel's 8th Birthday with Adorable Baby Pics

Ice T's little girl is celebrating a big day!
On November 28, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star took to his official Instagram page to share some sweet snapshots of his daughter, Chanel, to celebrate her turning 8 years old. The first picture showed her playing on an iPad, before we see cute throwback baby pics of her rocking shades and headphones.
"HappyBirthday @babychanelnicole You’re 8yrs old today! Wow.. so fast! ❤️" Ice T captioned the post.

Chanel has sure had an eventful fall. This Halloween, she dressed up as Marie Antoinette in a bright pink costume. Her dad was clearly an admirer of the creative getup, and shared pictures on Instagram.
"Her Majesty Queen @babychanelnicole wishes you ALL a very Happy Halloween 🎃," he captioned the post.
"This just put a big smile on my face," his SVU co-star Mariska Hargitay commented.
Then, on August 13, Chanel's mother, Coco Austin, posted fun photos of the fam hanging out in New York City. A highlight is Chanel posing with someone in a Statue of Liberty costume in Times Square.
Ice T talks about his daughter's relationship with social media
In an August interview with People the actor revealed how he feels about Chanel's Instagram page, which has over 400k followers.
"It's fun and she likes doing it. If she didn't, we definitely wouldn't do it," he said. "When Chanel was born, we got her social media because we knew that we were gonna be the parents that were gonna show a hundred pictures of their kid because we were proud. I didn't want to put it all on my page, because then I'd be that dad that's always showing pictures of his kids. So we said got her a page that way if people want to watch our child grow, they can. We're not afraid of anything happening. People will say, ‘don’t show her face.’ We're not concerned with that."

In a 2020 interview with People, Ice T also discussed how he likes to make memories with photographs.
"I'm taking a lot of pictures. I'm that same guy that you go, 'Oh, my daughter…' and before I know it I'm showing you pictures," he told the outlet. "I said that I'm not going to be that guy, but now I'm just like, 'Wait, look,' and, 'Wait, look at this one,' and, 'Wait a minute, hold up.' You can't help it. You're just happy."
