NBC's Found is one of those shows with a knack for striking the delicate balance between case-of-the-week pacing and a larger, overarching mystery. It started with a very cool premise, and just keeps building in new layers, adding to viewer anticipation for each new episode.
This week, after a brief absence from our screens, Found returns with a new Season 2 episode directed by one of its stars, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, adding even more anticipation to an episode viewers have been waiting eagerly to see. Is a new episode of Found on NBC tonight? (April 3, 2025)
Yes! After taking a week off at the end of March, Found's Season 2 Episode 17 will air Thursday, April 3 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC, before streaming next day on Peacock. Titled "Missing While Manipulated," the episode is written by Charli Engelhorn and directed by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, one of the show's anchors as its central villain, the devious Sir.

What is Found about?
Found is both an episodic procedural about the search for various missing persons and a deep-dive into the psychological and procedural fallout of the relationship between one kidnapping victim and her kidnapper. Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton) runs Mosely & Associates, an investigative firm devoted to finding the missing and exploited, and she founded the firm specifically because she was kidnapped by former teacher Hugh "Sir" Evans (Gosselaar) 20 years earlier.
As the show begins, viewers get to see what it's like when the script is flipped, as Gabi kidnaps a resurfaced Sir, holds him in a basement, and demands help with her cases. As the show's gone on, though, Sir's relationship to Gabi, and with the legal system, has only grown more complex. Now imprisoned and awaiting trial, Sir has found some unlikely allies in his quest to preserve himself, while Gabi continues to press forward with the larger mysteries of her work, and Sir's role in her life as both victim and investigator.

In this week's episode, Found will explore what happens when a father does some very drastic things to find his child, and we'll no doubt get even more information on Mosley & Associates' ongoing issues, as well as Sir's impending trial.
