John Legend & 7-Month-Old Esti Have Matching Smiles in an Adorable New Photo
The Voice Coach called the baby, who he shares with wife Chrissy Teigen, his "angel."
John Legend sure is one proud papa!
On August 3, the "All of Me" singer took to his official Instagram page to share an adorable photo of him hanging out with his baby daughter Esti. In the snapshot taken outdoors on a bright sunny day, he held up Esti on his shoulders while sporting a big grin.
"Angel on my shoulders," he lovingly captioned the post.
This isn't the only exciting endeavor that baby Esti has been up to lately. On June 8, her mama Chrissy Teigen shared the most adorable picture of her, Esti, and Legend all cuddling together on a couch and smiling at the camera. In the picture, the resemblance between Esti and her parents is undeniable.
"our 🐞," Teigen captioned the post, meaning that "ladybug" is Esti's cute nickname.
Esti was welcomed to the world this past January. To celebrate the news, Legend took to his official Instagram page to inform fans with a heartwarming photo of his older children Luna, 7, and Miles, 5, cradling the newborn.
“On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word…,” Legend gushed in the caption.
He and Teigen also welcomed son Wren in June via surrogate.

John Legend opens up about his family
Legend an Teigen have four beautiful children and although they are one big happy family now, in a vulnerable moment on The Jennifer Hudson Show in February, Legend opened up about the difficulties he and his wife faced to grow their family.
"We've been open about it because we've had challenges," Legend told Hudson. "We had to use IVF to conceive our children. We've had a pregnancy loss, and I think a lot of families grow through that, but I think a lot of people were happy that we talked about it because they didn't feel so alone."
"A lot of people go through this, and they go through it in silence or they go through it feeling like they're the only ones going through it. And I think Chrissy and I talking about it has made people feel better about that journey," he added.
