John Legend Shared the Sweetest Pics with Miles and Newborn Wren: "The Boys"
He now has two mini-me boys!
John Legend knows that there's nothing like some father-son bonding time!
On July 15, the "All of Me" singer took to his official Instagram page to share the sweetest snapshots of him hanging out with his two sons, 5-year-old Miles and newborn Wren Alexander.
The first snapshot showed the three sitting comfy on a couch, with Legend with his arm around Miles while he sported a big grin on his face. Miles adorably cradled a sound asleep baby Wren in his arms while he gave a cheeky smile at the camera. Then, we catch a glimpse of Miles fiddling with his hair in a mirror while wearing some pajamas, before Legend showed us the most heartwarming pic of baby Wren smiling in a onesie with a silly look on his face.
"The boys," Legend affectionately captioned the post.
Legend clearly loves to spend time with his family. Last month, The Voice Coach also shared an adorable selfie of him going on a little bowling adventure with Miles, and the resemblance between the two is uncanny. In the picture, Miles made a goofy expression at the camera while holding up a bowling ball all by himself, while his dad put his arm around him, smiling while he held up the camera.
"Bowling buddies," Legend wrote in the caption.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcome baby Wren Alexander
On June 28, Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen surprised fans with some exciting and unexpected news: they had welcomed another child, Wren Alexander Stephens, into the family via surrogate. On Teigen's Instagram page, she explained their joy over Wren's arrival and opened up about the emotional meaning behind the newborn's name.
"We also met the most incredible, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was a perfect match for us the moment we spoke to her. All of our wishes and dreams aligned. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time would allow," she explained.
"We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you. Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full," she gushed.
