On August 30, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay posted a gorgeous selfie with fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis. In the Instagram snapshot, the two look radiant while posing next to each other on a bright, sunny day. In the shot, Hargitay has her hair down in layered waves while Curtis rocks some trendy thick-framed glasses.
"Fierce female friendship alert. Love this lady," Hargitay captioned the post before referring to Curtis as a "sister from another mister." See the photo further down this story!
Hargitay's life has been eventful lately. She and her husband, Peter Hermann recently celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. To honor the event, Hargitay took to her official Instagram page to share the most stunning snapshot of the two dancing at their reception.
"19 years. Best dance of my life. Only dance of my life," Hargitay wrote in the caption. See the lovely photo here.

Mariska Hargitay's friendship with Taylor Swift
Curtis isn't the only A-lister that Hargitay is good pals with. She's also friends with Taylor Swift!
The two originally met at the Met Gala but truly hit it off when Hargitay and her husband were stranded in Queens after an Ingrid Michaelson concert, and Swift offered to give the two a ride.
“She was like a little angel that goes, ‘Oh, do you guys need a ride?’ And I was like, ‘Oh no, why?’” Hargitay recalled on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “And then she drove us home, and that was the end of it.”
Soon after, Hargitay starred in Swift's "Bad Blood" music video and even accompanied her onstage at the 2015 VMAs when Swift won the award for Video of the Year.
“I didn’t know what to expect, but they [the other women in the video] were so lovely and inclusive, and I had so much fun with them," Hargitay told Andy Cohen when discussing filming the music video.

That same year, Swift was listed as one of Time's 100 most influential people. And who better to write some words honoring Swift than Hargitay?

Another fun fact? One of Taylor Swift's cats is named Olivia Benson!
