Miley Cyrus' Dynamic Take on "Heart of Glass" by Blondie is Ultra Badass

The former The Voice Coach did an edgy take on the disco tune back in 2020.

In 2020, Miley Cyrus used her signature rock and roll voice to bring an edgy flair to Blondie's "Heart of Glass."

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

During her performance she made the unique (and effective) choice to belt the chorus to the classic new-wave tune. Unsurprisingly, the cover went ultra-viral, and now has more than 170 million views on YouTube.

What to know about "Heart of Glass" by Blondie

Released off of the band's 1978 album Parallel Lines, "Heat of Glass" marked the transition of Blondie's sound from punk to a disco style. It reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 2023 the outlet listed "Heart of Glass" as the 47th best pop song of all time.

"One of the first (and best) singles to blend dance and new wave, Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” boasts a breezy effervescence that belies its immaculate production and meticulous execution," Billboard wrote.
